Credits & Usage
How Sheetminer's credit system works and where to see your balance.
Sheetminer runs on a credit system: processing a document costs credits based on its page count, and every account starts with a free monthly allowance.
How credits are spent
Credits are charged when a document is processed (OCR plus layout parsing when you add it to a sheet), based on the number of pages - a 4-page document, for example, costs 8 credits. Once a document is processed, running additional extractions against it (Snip, AI Snip, Search) doesn’t reprocess the document or cost further credits, so it’s worth adding a document once and running as many extractions against it as you need.
Checking your balance
Your remaining credits are shown in the Extract tab whenever you’re about to upload a document (“Will use N credits to process 1 file. You have N credits remaining.”), and in the account menu at any time.
Free allowance
Every account gets a free allowance of credits each month, which renews automatically. This is enough for occasional or light use without needing a paid plan.
Paid plans
For higher volume, paid plans provide a larger monthly credit allowance. See the pricing section on the homepage for current plans and rates.
